Before you begin: fill out the answer keys for this assignment on scantron cards and place them at the top of the stack, then then scan your cards face-up through the scantron machine in Hale 214. This converter will identify the first scantrons read in as answerkeys, so they do not need to be marked with a special WID number/etc.
Select the Scantron file you wish to convert into a .csv for Canvas gradebook import.
Select the number of test versions (answer keys). 1 2 3
Select the number of answer sheets per test version. (e.g.: more than 50 questions equals 2 sheets): 1 2 3 4 5
Make sure the answer key sheets were scanned in at the top of the stack.
I did not create my answer keys on my scantron cards.
Select the appropriate settings above and follow the steps provided. Once the steps are complete, check your Downloads folder for the converted file.
Uploading to Canvas: Navigate to the Canvas Gradebook, click the gear icon at the top left, then choose the option to Upload Scores (from .csv). Canvas will insert the students' total scores into your gradebook as if they were a graded manual assignment.
Please note that you must already have some content in your Canvas Gradebook before you can successfully upload any grades from .csv files.
